양성일 목사
한국에서 목회자의 가정에서 태어나 1970년대 초에 가족과 함께 미국 Chicago로 이민 온 1.5세대이다. University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign에서 전기공학을 전공했고 (BSEE,1981),대학 3학년 때 목회자로 부르심을 받아 Chicago 근교에 있는 Trinity 신학교에서 M.Div 과정을 1986년에 졸업했고, 신약 전공으로 Th.M과정을 수학했다.
Chicago 지역에서 2세 사역을 하다가 1989년부터 미국 Connecticut 주와 Wisconsin 주에서 한인 이민 목회를 감당하였으며, 2014년부터 Arizona주 Phoenix 근교에 있는 <십자가의 교회>를 현재 담임하고 있다. 1999년부터 GP선교회 미주 이사로 섬기고 있으며 이사장을 역임했다.저서로는 만남 바이블 스터디 시리즈의 <성경과의 만남>,<예수님과의 만남>,<교회와의 만남>,<약속과의 만남>,<섬김과의 만남>,<큐티와의 만남>이 있다.

Douglas Petrovich (Ph.D., M.A., Th.M., M.Div.) is a professor of biblical history and exegesis, who teaches online for Brookes Bible College (St. Louis, Missouri). He formerly taught biblical studies and/or ancient Near Eastern history and archaeology at The Bible Seminary (Katy, Texas), The University of Toronto (Scarborough, Ontario), Wilfrid Laurier (Waterloo, Ontario), Shepherd’s Theological Seminary (Cary, North Carolina), and Novosibirsk Biblical-Theological Seminary (Akademgorodok, Siberia). He earned a Ph.D. from the University of Toronto (St. George campus), with a major in Syro-Palestinian archaeology, a first minor in ancient Egyptian language (hieroglyphics), and a second minor in ancient Near Eastern religions. He is the author of The World’s Oldest Alphabet: Hebrew as the Language of the Proto-Consonantal Script (Carta: Jerusalem, 2016), Origins of the Hebrews: New Evidence of Israelites in Egypt from Joseph to the Exodus (New Creation: Nashville, 2021), and Nimrod the Empire Builder: Architect of Shock and Awe (Ancient World Publishing: Richmond, 2023). He has published 8 journal articles, all of which are accessible for free from his academia.edu webpage. He speaks at annual conferences in his field and at other conferences both in the U.S.A. and abroad.
