고든컨웰신학교에서 세계기독교학과 부교수로, 또 세계기독교센터(CSGC)의 디렉터로 있는 그는 데이빗 바렛 박사와 함께 <세계기독교대백과사전>을 편찬, 모은 전세계 모든 종족, 언어, 나라, 도시의 기독교와 타종교 현황의 전체 통계의 연구 권위자로 이 자료는 ABC, BBC, AP통신, 뉴욕타임즈 등에서 널리 활용 및 인용되고 있으며 이러한 통계를 가지고 로잔운동에서 새로운 전략, 미전도종족선교, 세계종교에 대한 <글로벌 컨버세이션>을 통해 활발히 동참하고 있다.

In the contexts of religious transformation, religious diversity, and language, this seminar considers demographic trends both within global Christianity and outside of global Christianity. Christianity has shifted to the global South, and in the process has further fragmented into more denominations. Christian resources are unevenly distributed, and Christians are out of contact with members of other religions. These trends are viewed in light of mission strategy.
