헌신적인 기독교인들은 종종 이 중대한 이슈에 있어 성경의 진정한 가르침을 알지 못한 채 서로 다른 입장들을 취하고 있다. 휴거가 환란 전이냐, 중이냐, 후냐 등 자신이 가진 입장에 따라 계시록을 대환란 때에 믿지 않는 자들과 이스라엘을 향해서만 주어진 것으로 받아들이고 종말예언에 대해 알고자 하는 마음이 사라질 수도 있다. 이 세미나에서 이 세개의 관점을 최대한 공정하게, 각각의 관점이 배경으로 하고 있는 말씀들을 가지고 조명해 볼 것이다. 이렇게 할때야 억측이나 허구, 상상들이 들어설 틈을 주지 않을 수 있다. 이 중요한 성경의 가르침을 어떻게 받아들이느냐에 따라 계시록이 지적인 호기심으로 가득 찬 책이 되거나 아니면 마지막 때에 우리가 반드시 먹어 소화시켜야 되는 책이 될 것이다.
