미치 토산  Mich Tosan   

무슬림에서 개종한 미치 토산 목사는 페리시안월드선교회(PWO) 총무로 사역하며 페르시아어와 영어를 유창하게 한다. 버지니아의 침례교신학대학을 졸업하였고 현재 캘리포니아의 이란인들 가운데 있는 성경학교에서 모슬렘 기독교인들을 성경말씀으로 훈련시켜 페르시아인들을 향한 선교의 씨앗으로 삼고자 하는 비전으로 사역하고 있다.

그리스도인들은 회교도인들을 향해 다리를 놓는 특권과 책임이 있습니다. 우리의 목표는 예수 그리스도의 사랑과 복음을 그들과 나누는 것입니다. 우리는 타문화권에 대해 배우는 사람들로서 겸손해야 하며 용납과 이해의 순수한 태도를 가져야 합니다. 단계별로는 관계를 정립하여 친구가 되며 교제를 나누어 함께 예배드리고 제자가 되게 하는 것입니다.

Today’s Europe, a door to Africa and the Middle East, is no longer the land for exclusively Caucasian population. The proliferation of wars and civil strifes in the Middle Eastern and African countries has caused a recent influx of refugees from those lands into Europe. Countries like Germany and Sweden, which offer political asylum and strong welfare support, have become favorite destinations among refugees. Since most of their native countries are Muslim, these refugees have significantly increased the Muslim population in Europe. This phenomenon has raised a concern regarding Muslim domination of Europe. However, since missionaries are not allowed to enter Muslim countries, this can be seen as a God given opportunity to minister to these Muslim refugees.
