This workshop will discover thepotentials Korean-American mission forces possess for the world evangelization. A brief historical development of the Korean-American church will be discussed, as well as the unique role of the intergenerational Korean-Americans for the world mission will be covered.
A necessary preparation as a missionary will be discussed extensively from the view point of a 1.5 generation missionary. He will discuss step by step processes of the missionary preparations such as theological training, gathering information, choosing a mission organization, training period and factors behind deputations.
Lastly, some advantages of Korean-American missionary will be discussed. What are some of the strengths and difficulties of the Korean-Americans on the field and how the unique cultural background helped in doing mission works at various field situations.
