the Youth, College and Young
Adults at Wheaton College in IL
(Suburb of Chicago, IL) from
Monday July 28 through
Friday August 1, 2008
KWMC was founded in 1986 to create a global Christian overseas
mission support
network by a small group of global mission-minded
Korean-American pastors and
the like-minded many more pastors with the
endorsement of Dr. Billy Graham at
the Billy Graham Center on the campus of
Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL and
has held some of the world’s largest
Christian mission conferences in Wheaton, IL
every 4 years since the first
conference in 1988. For this year’s 6th KWMC
conference, KWMC’s leadership is attempting to make the youth,
college and
young adult’s conference a multi-cultural event, open to all races
and ethnicities in
North and South America
The theme of
KWMC 2008 Youth, College and Young Adults Conference
will be "Restoration."
Three main points of "Restoration" are:
1. the Restoration of the Truth –
Restoration of the uncompromising, undiluted and well-balanced God’s Truth on
Salvation, Forgiveness and Love, Repentance and Redemption and the importance
of being filled with the Holy Spirit and Sanctification by realizing His Truth
on Kindness and Severity, Mercy and Judgment.
2. the Restoration of the Intimate Fellowship
with Christ within the Church – Restoration of the Church as His Bride
that seeks the love, beauty and heart of Christ, so that it may lose itself
completely in Him and become the pure and blameless Bride that gladly joins
with Him in His suffering, pain, grief and love.
3. the Restoration of the Work of the Holy Spirit
within the Church – Restoration of the Holy Spirit's Work and the
manifestation of His Power within the Church and embracing them wholeheartedly in
the churches, mission fields, homes, workplaces, schools and campuses and
within our lives, so that the true restoration may occur by bearing the fruits
of the Holy Spirit.
Target Age Groups: Youth Group age 13 through Young Adults in early
30's. Sunday School Age 7-12 would be meeting at a separate venue during
the Conference. |
