중국
북경 3대 기독교 가정에서 출생, 11세때 전도자 존성을
통해 회심, 왕명도목사에게 양육받고 대만장로교신학교와
미조리 센츄럴신학교를 수료하고 윌리엄캐리대학에서
문학박사, 고든컨웰신학교에서 신학박사를 수여하였다.
1961년 중국기독선교회를 1976년 중국세계선교협의회를
창설, 사무총장 역임, 1987년 로잔세계선교운동 국제총무로
선임되어 1989년 제2차 마닐라 로잔세계선교대회를
총괄하였다. 1989년 기독교21세기운동을 창설하여 미전도종족복음화에
총력을 기울였으며 1989년 창립한 대사명신학교/선교센타를
통해 타문화권과 중국어권 선교를 위해 선교사역자를
훈련하며 수많은 선교대회 주강사로 활약하는 세계적
선교지도자다. 본 대회의 명예대회장으로 한어권 대회에서는
주제강연을, 영어권 대회에서는 성경강해를 통해 강력한
말씀을 선포할 것이다.

gospel to America, Asia and other parts of the world
in the 18th
and 19th
centuries.
④ The Asian churches, together with
churches of other countries, should now undertake
two major tasks:
a)
Back to Jerusalem Movement: Evangelism and church
planting from Asia, to the Middle East,
Near,
until Jerusalem.
b)
Re-evangelization of the West: The Western World
today, regrettably, is gradually becoming
post-Christian,
non-Christian, and sometimes anti-Christian. Third
World churches have the
obligation
to bring the gospel back to them.

예루살렘과 (행1:8) 안디옥에서 (행 28:16-31) 시작되었다.

사도바울은 1세기에 복음을 유럽으로 전하였다. (마케도니아,
그리스, 로마) (행 16:1-12)
③ 18-19세기에 유럽교회는
복음을 아메리카, 아시아 및 타지역에 전하였다.

아시아 교회는 다른 지역의 교회들과 함께 지금 다음
두가지 주요 사역을 감당해야 한다.

백투예루살렘운동(Back to Jerusalem Movement) 아시아로부부
교회개척과 전도, 선교가 중동지역에
예루살렘에
닿기까지 전개되어야 한다.
b)
서구권의 재복음화(Re-evangelization of the West)
오늘날 서구세계는 안타깝게도 기독교-후기시대,
비기독교,
그리고 때로는 반기독교로 변모해 가고 있다. 제3세계
교회들은 복음을 그들에게 전할
책임이
있다.
